Saturday, February 28 - the morning was just perfect for breakfast.  It was sunny and not too hot yet and the wind stayed resting until breakfast was nearly over.  We had borrowed four tables so everyone was able to sit at a table.  We used 36 eggs, had chopped bacon, ham, onions, red and green peppers and two kinds of shredded cheese.  Each guest made their own omelet by cracking eggs into a ziplock bag then adding whatever they wanted, closing bag and dropping in a large pot of boiling water.  Gordon had made fried potatoes and pancakes, there were sliced tomatoes and oranges along with orange, apple and peach orange juice, hot chocolate, coffee.  The first guests arrived at 8:45 and the last guests left at 11:35.  It was a success!

Today was the Bluegrass festival and chili cook off but we were too tired to go to either.  Gordon's knees were very sore so he had a nap this afternoon.  Maria came for a short visit this afternoon.  The evening was quiet.
