Tuesday, March 3 - up at 7:00 am just in time to see Bonnie, Kathy and Maggie pull out headed for home. Had to walk early as it is very warm at +17C.  Gordon cleaned up around the wood pile.  We have 27 pallets plus a pile of cut up pallets left.  Never will we burn all this wood. Our neighbors told us to not to get in the wood pile at night without a flashlight as the snakes like to curl up there.  It was very cloudy this morning, and it is a good thing too, as it is HOT.  We left at 2:00 with Jerilyn and Ron for Algodones for supper.  Had to make a stop in Yuma to return some shoes.  Both Jeanne and Jerilyn ended up purchasing an identical pair of sandals.

The four of us walked around Algodones looking for a purse for Jerilyn but she couldn't find the one she wanted that she had seen the last time she was down.  The bakery was the next on our list.  We purchased four buns and three pastries two with pineapple filling and one with strawberry filling. Then we went for supper.  Ron and Jerilyn had eaten at this restaurant several times and had good food.  Gordon ordered t-bone steak and got the biggest steak he had ever been served.  Ron ordered shrimp, Jerilyn ordered tacos and Jeanne ordered a combination plate which included one hot tomale, burrito, enchilata (?) refried beans and guachamale (?)  Can you tell we are not used to Mexican food - we don't even know how to spell it.  When we were speaking to Sandi and Steve this morning they said in Oklahoma they have Tex-Mex food which is very spicy, and that authentic Mexican food is rather bland.  Our food tonight was just good.

We arrived back at Q at 7:30 pm.  It was a wonderful day. We dropped R & J at their motorhome and before we could drive around to our home Ron was here with two pastries they had purchased. It was +75F when we got back to Q.  The end of another day in paradise.
